At the Ethem Erkoç Conference Hall on the MYO campus, we welcomed Mr Hasan TULUK, one of the most powerful representatives of traditional and contemporary art, a master who sees metalwork not only as a craft but also as a cultural heritage and a form of artistic expression, and who has been awarded the title of ‘Living Human Treasure’ by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. During the talk, which took place at 14:00 on 01.10.2025, we discussed a part of our cultural memory, the deep-rooted architecture of Anatolia, the fine craftsmanship that brings together the past and the present, namely art, and the future of art. In his opening remarks, our Vocational School Director, Prof. Dr. Faruk MARAŞLIOĞLU, spoke about the universality of art and its influence at every stage of production, noting that with the newly opened departments at our Vocational School, it has become an environment where art is experienced more intensely.
